Monarch Bay has contracted to have necessary curb, street, and speed bump repairs completed. Originally scheduled in April but moved due to rain; the new start date is on June 3rd. The entire project will run from June 3rd through June 28th with work beginning at 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Please find the individual phases in the attached map. Curbs and gutters will be repaired and/or completely replaced.
Green: June 3-June 12 – no access to green section of the street
Pink: June 17-June 26 – no access to the pink section of the street
Blue: June 26-June 28 – no access to the blue sections of the street
Note that there will be no street or driveway access or parking in these areas per the colored phasing schedule attached.
Homeowners who will be directly affected will need to park off-street. This includes garaged vehicles that will need to leave the community or golf carts that are driving to the Beach Club.
All will need to alert guests and vendors that these areas will be closed during this construction period.
It is imperative that all irrigation, sump pumps, construction run-off or other water run-off be turned off for the affected areas and addresses up hill. This is to allow the curb cement time to cure.
Any disturbance of the curing materials by a homeowner, their family, vendors or guests may be required to bear the costs to repair damage.
We understand this is an inconvenience, but the repairs are necessary and will enhance the area. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Liz Reed at [email protected].
