Monarch Bay has contracted with Hardy and Harper to perform street improvements within the Association.  The scope of work includes removal & replacement of existing asphalt, seal coating, crack sealing and striping in specific areas.

Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, 6/16/25 and will last approximately 2 weeks. Work will be performed Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Stage 1 is Grinding and paving beginning on 6/16, 6/17 or 6/18 completing on 6/19. 

Stage 2 is Asphalt Paving following in each area on 6/17, 6/18 or 6/19.

Stage 3 is Seal Coat and Striping beginning on either 6/24 or 6/25.Β  See map for the different areas receiving Seal Coat.

  • Watch for signage directing traffic and indicating when the street will be open to traffic.
  • Be advised that you will not be able to drive, bike, golf cart or walk on the streets while work is happening. Β ALERT YOUR TENANTS AND VENDORS OF SCHEDULE!
  • If your street is affected, plan to move any vehicles that you will want to drive, out of the work area.Β  Any vehicles left in work area may be subject to tow.
  • Neighbors near to work zone, should park their vehicles on their driveways and in garages to free up on-street parking for those affected.
  • Turn off irrigation, sump pump and construction run-off to affected streets.
  • Do not drive or walk on the affected streets before they are released.Β  You may track tar or debris onto your own driveway or garages.Β  Any damage done to street seal coats before they are released, owner may be responsible for repair of damaged areas.
  • Follow the signage and directions from our vendor.
