Construction Access Rule Change

Monarch Bay Association’s Board of Directors is considering adoption of changes to its operating rules for Construction Vendor access on Saturdays.  The current rule allows for Construction access on Saturdays limited from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. for interior work only. 

The new rule under consideration would not allow Construction vendor access on Saturdays for any work, interior or exterior.  This would not affect personal service providers and regular deliveries.

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule change is to restrict construction work and vehicles within the community on Saturdays to allow homeowners to enjoy their property without construction noise, debris, additional traffic, and parking issues on the weekends.

The Board will consider adoption of the proposed rule change at their February 20, 2024 meeting to be held via zoom teleconference with General Session beginning at 7:30 P.M.
