Neptune Park Update

We have some exciting news to share. At the March Board of Directors meeting, the Board approved the demolition and grading of the Park (Phase 2). It was clear that once the grading for the Entry began that the Park access was a challenge and also that it would be much more costly to complete the entry and then mobilize once again for demolition of the Park at a later date. This will also minimize the noise and nuisance impact for the homes surrounding the Park.

Originally, we thought we would have to delay the construction of the Park project until after the Entry Project for cash flow purposes; however, as the revenue from the Beach Club lease arrangement has exceeded the budget and after some excellent analysis by the Association Treasurers, this allows us to move forward with the Park sooner than expected.

The downside is that the Park will need to be completely closed from Monday, March 28th until the remainder of the year. It will no longer be safe to access any of the park facilities until construction is complete. The area will be completely fenced off until it is safe to re-open it at the completion of all construction. We know this will be an inconvenience, but our primary goal is to keep everyone safe.

We have many local playgrounds and dog parks that can be utilized during this time. As for tennis facilities, we have made arrangements for our residents to utilize the tennis court and pickleball courts at the Marea Apartments (corner of Crown Valley and Camino del Avion). The Marea courts are first come, first served. Please contact Jacquelyn at Keystone for gate access details. Another local alternative is the Dana Hills Tennis Center off Golden Lantern.

Again, you truly appreciate your patience and understanding of the necessary inconveniences through the remainder of the Entry and Park construction projects.
